Dear Family and Friends,
 
This is a short report updating you on the beautiful Sabbath activities just past!  Sabbath was a high day here in Nuzvid as we had about 88 people baptized at the large Nuzvid Church.  Of these 61 were baptized during the main service.  We were told that this is the greatest number of people baptized here in the local church in one day for many years. It was exciting to see many come to be baptized from the poorer section of the town, many with a Hindu background.  These people were joyfully becoming followers of Christ, joining the family of God.  Following the baptism I preached drawing lessons from Revelation 14 concerning the triumph of the Lamb and His people.  After the service was over, a group of believers came from one of our seven villages to be baptized and so we had another baptism of 18 people.  Indeed it was a special day!
 
Just a short while ago I received a report from Pastor PJ Jesurthnam stating that there was a baptism of 44 this morning in one of the villages where Dee May and Sheila Mondragon are working. Praise God!  The third team made up of Norma Allen and Margarita Gitev have had several baptisms to date totalling 64.   As you might imagine, all of our team members are rejoicing and praising the Lord.  In each area we are expecting more baptisms this week.  But besides baptisms, it is such a joy to see people understanding the way of salvation in Christ, the truths of the Scriptures; and then, in response, dedicating their lives to Christ.  Their joy is seen in their eyes and on their faces.
 
The weather here continues to be very pleasant.  We certainly do not miss the cold weather that many of you are experiencing.
